    Who is the Holy Spirit?

    • The Holy Spirit has the characteristics of a person
      •  He is called the Comforter by JESUS (John 14:16…). A power cannot comfort, nor can a force do it. The word translated comforter can mean: helper, advocate, intercessor, counselor, “strengthener”, the one who stands by our side (John 14:16). All these attributes are proper to a person.

      • He is capable of having emotions “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30

        We do not sadden what has no personality. There is only a person capable of interaction who can have emotions, feelings.

      • He is able to communicate : In the book of Acts of the Apostles, there are several references of the SE speaking to the Church or ministers of GOD.  » While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said: Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them . »
