What Should We Repent From?

• The Bible reveals that before the coming of Jesus, everyone followed their own way:

« All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. » (Isaiah 53:6, ASV)

• Imagine a flock of sheep where each one follows its own path. By the end, it leads to total disorder, and none will likely enter the enclosure.
• Likewise, when we live according to our own will, deciding to be our own master, we are in rebellion against God. Sometimes, we even say, « No one tells me what to do! »
• We must repent from this rebellion and receive Jesus as our Lord. (We will see how to do this in the next lesson.)
