When will the rapture take place

• Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour. Any analysis that can accurately say the day of the rapture is pure speculation. We have signs of the end times, but not the precision.

“36  But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. ” Matthew 24:36

• A great event will take place on earth called the great tribulation (period of great persecution).
• Some believe that the rapture will take place before, others during, or after. These beliefs give rise to three schools of thought: pre- tribulation , mid- tribulation , and post- tribulation . Several biblical arguments support pre-tribulationism . We will return to this subject in the simplified eschatology module.
