The judgment will start in the church

• The Bible teaches us that there is a day of God’s judgment.

Matthew 12:36 “ And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment…”

• This judgment will begin with the Church of God.

1 Peter 4.17-18

“17 For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the [i]gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear? ”

• The judgment of God’s children will have two purposes. First, to award rewards according to the work of the ministry, second, to erase the names of those who have abandoned faith in Jesus from the book of life (Revelation 3:5)
